Welcome to Shenyang Institute of Aeronautical Engineering (SYIAE). I am very glad to share with you information about the admission criteria, course descriptions and research materials.
SYIAE is one of the eighteen non-military universities cultivating officials for the air force. Nowadays, it has evolved into a multi-disciplined university of engineering science and technology with an emphasis on aeronautic and astronautic engineering, covering such diverse fields as science, technology, arts, economics, management and foreign languages.
SYIAE has actively and intensively developed its international academic exchange programs and cooperation. It has established cooperation with more than 30 universities and research institutions from different countries including Canada, UK, France, Germany, Russia, the USA, and many scholars of international renown have been invited as honorary or consultant professors to the university. Every year, there are many foreign experts and scholars come to SYIAE to give lectures, to visit, and to take part in international conferences, and discussions for scientific cooperation; and every year over 50 professors or scholars for SYIAE go abroad to give lectures, participate in academic conferences or conduct cooperative scientific research.
At the beginning of the new century, SYIAE has set up a new development strategy and long-term goal for achieving its international reputation. I sincerely hope friends both home and abroad will continue to support our university's construction and development and I also hope more international partners will join us.
